About
Me
I learned how to fly
seaplanes in Alaska back in the early 1980's
when we carried Colt 45's on our belts to
keep away the grizzly bears. I chopped a
winters wood for a lodge owner in return for
a seaplane rating. Back then nobody wanted
to let a new guy fly their seaplanes and I
quickly realized why. It was tough going for
a while, but I did eventually learn the trade
well, and have worked all over the world
since then, flying mostly for the last ten
years, the Cessna Caravan Amphibian. I was
at the very foundation of a very successful
continuing operation in Indonesia and was
involved in certifying the first
official seaplane base with that project. I
have helped successful operators organize
their schedules and operations and interview
and train flight crews and office staff. I
have held Flight Instructor Licenses in five
countries and have trained many foreign
pilots to fly seaplanes including pilots
from Lufthansa, United and American Airlines
and primary students from the USA, Indonesia, India,
Thailand and China. So
give me a call and lets get started on your
next adventure! Photo at Pan African In
